VERVE® Suites Mont'Kiara, which pioneered the first sky lounge concept in 2006, has received the ‘Best High Rise Residential’ Award at the Malaysia Property Award organised by FIABCI Malaysia on 7 November 2014.
The award was presented by Yang DiPertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Tuanku MuhrizIbni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir to Datuk NK Tong, BKP’s Group Managing Director.
Developed by Bukit Kiara Properties (BKP), VERVE® Suites Mont'Kiara is a project that features four towers with individually themed sky lounges on top of each tower. All residents enjoy access to four living concepts and sky lounges in their home compound.
“In 2006 when BKP first previewed VERVE® Suites Mont’Kiara, it was difficult to explain the unique concept of the development. But today, people participate actively in social networking sites, and VERVE® Suites Mont’Kiara is the real estate equivalent. It is a platform for people to connect face-to-face in so many innovative ways,” shared NK.
Each sky lounge features a different living concept, which complements each other. Residents can swim out in the clear blue sky at Malaysia’s first Sky Beach - The Versilica Sky Beach, chill out at the first-of-its-kind Vertigo Sky Lounge, host private functions and entertaining guests at The Hypercubes Sky Lounge, and immerse in lush greenery of the ‘sky jungle’ of Gardens of Concentrico.
VERVE® Suites Mont’Kiara has also raised the bar and transformed the playing field for residential development in Malaysia through the introduction of many first-of-its-kind features and achievements.
It has successfully brought in the sky lounge trend and demand for compact fully-furnished suites which was uncommon in Kuala Lumpur back then due to the challenges involved in constructing and furnishing the units. From RM600 per square foot in 2006, the project is now transacted at as high as RM1,600 per square foot.
Commenting on the award, NK said: “We are privileged to be given such as esteemed award as I understand that the judging criteria are very thorough and it goes through a stringent process which lasts for more than 6 months. This award will spur us to do even better and in creating more sustainable and innovative developments for our customers.”
“I would like to dedicate the success of VERVE® Suites Mont’Kiara to our shareholders and team members, our business associates, contractors and suppliers and most importantly, the trust and support of our customers, homeowners and residents,” said NK, adding that creating value for BKP’s buyers was of utmost importance.
Other awards and achievements received by VERVE® Suites Mont’Kiara include the Malaysia Landscape Architecture Awards 2013 – Project of the Year, and Malaysian Institute of Architects’ - Micro Detail Design Award 2011. The project’s second tower, Vibe, has also emerged as the highest quality for any high-rise residential project in Malaysia with a score of 82.2.
VERVE® Suites Mont'Kiara offers 933 fully-furnished designer suites with over 100,000 sq.ft. of facilities at the sky lounges and pool podium level. The project was fully sold with the last tower handed over to homeowners in December 2013. BKP is now extending the VERVE® living concept with its new project called "VERVE® Suites KL South", which will be officially previewed soon.
