A Young Couple Wins the BKP Love Adventure Contest.
What started out as a usual outing to visit a property sales gallery on a weekend a few months back, brought a sweet surprise to a young couple when they went on to win a free trip to Japan, courtesy of BKP in conjunction with its Love Adventure contest.
Known for its product innovation, niche property developer BKP launched an interactive and fun-filled social media contest, Love Adventure, last November to engage its customers. To win the online contest, participants were required to follow 3 simple steps – Like & Share, Visit VERVE® Suites KL South, and Snap a Photo.
Grand prize winner, Ho Wai Yern, walked away with a pair of return air tickets to Japan and a 5 days / 4 nights stay at BKP’s Koharu Resort Hotel & Suites in Hakuba, Japan. “This is a huge surprise for me. The Japan trip is the biggest prize I have ever won! This will also be my first time visiting Japan.”
“My partner and I have never thought of winning any prizes when we first visited VERVE® Suites KL South. Our intention was to look for our dream home when we were encouraged to participate in the Love Adventure contest by one of BKP’s team members. I am glad we participated and won a trip to Japan. I can’t wait to go for my holiday,” said the elated Ho Wai Yern who plans to go to Hakuba with her partner.
Hakuba was the host of the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympic, and it has now become a perfect getaway for all seasons. The KoharuResort Hotel & Suites is a project developed by BKP which offers luxury and comfortable accomodation in Hakuba.
“We have embraced social media for more than 3 years. Other than our BKP Facebook & Instagram accounts, we have a closed group of 600 active residents and owners of our VERVE® Suites Mont’Kiara project. The residents have been actively using the platform to share their views with us and also to connect with other residents in the same project,” said BKP’s Group Managing Director, Datuk NK Tong.
“As a responsible developer, we view social media as an important platform for us to get in touch with our customers, and to hear from them all the time,” NK Tong added.
Crowds thronged into BKP Sales gallery in VERVE® Suites KL South to join the prize presentation ceremony. The gallery was filled with cheers and excitement when the winners were announced, with prizes ranging from a Mini iPad, dining vouchers and movie passes. BKP team members also dressed up in kimonos, a Japanese traditional costume, according to the event theme.
“It is so generous of BKP to organise this contest. I will share the dining vouchers with my family members and friends,” said the second runner-up, Choo Lee Lee, who walked away with dining vouchers worth RM300.
“We selected the winners based on the creativity of the photos taken and the quality of the captions. We hope the participants had fun taking part in the contest, and experiencing the unique lifestyle offered by VERVE® Suites KL South,” said NK Tong.
VERVE® Suites KL South is BKP’s latest project located on Old Klang Road. It comprises 321 fully-furnished designer suites, 45 SOHOs and 3 retail units in two towers. It is the first project in Kuala Lumpur that features the Vercadicos Sky Bridge, a facilities deck which links two residential towers together, fourteen floor above the ground.
