
In addition, BKP became the first property development company to win the Best Overall Small and Medium Business (SMB) Award in December 2005. In November 2006, BKP won the Product Innovation Excellence Award from Small Medium Industries (SMI) Association of Malaysia. These awards were bestowed to recognise BKP's excellent achievements in all areas of corporate performance including management techniques, financial results, marketing, branding strategies and product innovation.
In our continuous efforts to further improve on service quality, BKP and its related group of companies, BKB, BKI and BKPS embarked on a journey to be ISO certified back in 2004.
BKP's construction arm, BKB successfully obtained the ISO 9001 certification from Moody International in 2006. A year later, BKP together with BKI received their ISO 9001 certifications. The three companies also successfully transitioned from the ISO 9001:2000 standards to the ISO 9001:2008 standards in 2009. In year 2010, BKPS became the fourth company to obtain the ISO 9001 certification.
With these certifications, BKP has learnt that quality is not a destination, but a journey of providing quality services and persistently reaching for greater goals in terms of continuous improvement through development, implementation and maintenance of a quality management system.
